This exclusive ranch style lodging is located 2 miles west of the picturesque village of Huntley.  You will only be an hour from Chicago and 30 minutes east of Rockford, Illinois.   It is on the northern edge of Del Webb's Sun City.  The Illinois Railway Museum is just 10 miles drive. 

You will enjoy this large property with 4 guest rooms that is 2 miles from town.  No need to worry about light, noise or air pollution here.  It feels as if you have escaped the city, yet everything is just a few minutes drive away from here.  The property is surrounded by wooded acreage and then farm fields.  The building is set 400 feet back from the road.

Guests love our new luxury rooms in a spotlessly clean, fresh atmosphere.  Guests choose which individually styled room they prefer when booking.  Every room has a private luxury bathroom.  Some rooms have deep soak tubs with showers, others have a walk-in shower.  White bathrobes and slippers add to the luxury feel while you relax and rewind.  Guests  can use the guest washer and dryer to freshen up their clothing while traveling.  Guests can use the kitchenette to prepare light meals and save money from eating out.  Choose from 2 patios, complete with an amazing 6-acre view, a firepit, flower beds, table and chairs, a wood burning smokeless firepit, a grill, and a patio heater.

There are several options when staying at Harmony Inn. A group can book 3 bedrooms with 3 private baths together with a kitchen, living room and laundry room, or each room can be reserved individually as a private room with a private luxury restroom and access to a shared kitchen and living room.

Your host is available 24 hours a day to ensure you are comfortable and have everything you need.  Each room has a key code lock and guests receive a text and email just before check-in with this code.  Guests are greeted upon arrival and assisted with a smooth check in.  After a brief tour, we will introduce guests to our flock.  The turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens will come running to meet you most enthusiastically!  We will provide you with some feed for them and offer to take your photo.

Each private bedroom is beautifully decorated, with a seating area and a laptop-friendly desk. One has a king-sized bed with a patio door, another has a king-sized with a new luxury bathroom ensuite, and the other 2 rooms have a queen-sized bed and a bunk bed with ensuite baths. Every room boasts a TV, mini-fridge, desk, recliner and the Wi-Fi is fast and free.

Harmony Inn Aviary

One unique feature of Harmony Inn is our Aviary.  We have turkeys, ducks, geese, quail and chickens.  You will have an opportunity to hand feed the ducks! If requested, guests can schedule a time to hold a chicken or duck and take advantage of a photo opportunity.

This is a wonderful B&B. We have not stayed anywhere better. The hosts are very nice and extremely accommodating. The expansive property is beautiful and woodsy! Feeding the chickens and ducks was a lot of fun! The rooms are impeccably clean, extremely comfortable and very tastefully decorated. This will be our first choice the next time we are in McHenry County.

Comfortable, pleasant stay with gracious hosts. Watching fireflies light up and dance serenely across the vast field in the early part of the evening was an unexpected “highlight!” Delightful duck eggs for breakfast. Plenty of activities, pleasant surprises, and, for us the added bonus of being close to extended family.

The chain hotel that we normally use when we visit family nearby didn't have any rooms, so we tried Harmony Inn. It was such a good choice. Lovely stop! The innkeeper was extremely accommodating (especially for our last-minute booking). The room was comfortable and had all the amenities you would need, including lots of little snacks and goodies. The kitchenette amenities were plentiful, and we loved the retro feel of the appliances. The property was beautiful!
